Approach (to wedding photography)
“It is of an extreme importance to get to know the newly-weds at the meeting before the wedding – thus during the wedding day they will feel relaxed before the camera of an acquaintance and the photos will look natural – the way they should do. For this reason we spend more time than necessary together to dwell on formal issues,” Vladi claims, but it is not only the social contact that matters in his approach. In order to achieve perfect snapshots he should pay special attention to his technical preparation beforehand. The equipment for a wedding day consists of two high professional class cameras with at least three spare batteries each and lenses for extremely close and distant pictures; 2 flashes, a stand, a diaphragm, a reflector, and several memory cards with dozens of gigabytes. Armed with all this equipment, Vladi likes to have his little joke that photography is a sport as useful as swimming!
